Adapting to Culture and Personality
The Vienna Conventions on Diplomatic Relations ensures that diplomatic practices are practiced in the same way, everywhere. All diplomats are therefore expected to conduct themselves in the same way but must be able to stay flexible around how they work around cultures.
In this podcast, hosted by Sandra Francius-Renaudot (Managing Director) and Jeannette Viens (Director of Public Relations), discuss how diplomats encounter culture clash, look into examples of diplomats with big personalities, and how diplomacy should adapt to lifestyle choices that operate outside of the usual protocol.
Grassroot Diplomat Talks is the monthly podcast produced by Grassroot Diplomat, discussing the practices of diplomacy and international relations in today's modern world. Further information can be found on: www.grassrootdiplomat.org
