Breaking Personal Records
Talyn Rahman-Figueroa, CEO of Grassroot Diplomat, describes how she squeezes time to help diplomats around the world.
I think I must have broken some kind of record today.
In less than 3 hours, I managed to record 16 podcasts as well as get through 2 books – all in the name of the Grassroot Diplomat Online Academy. My team and I have been working tirelessly to add new resources to the Academy, all with the aim and intention to make you a better diplomat.
If you weren’t aware, we launched the Grassroot Diplomat Online Academy late last year to help diplomats around the world to support their personal and professional development in international relations. The Academy is split into 12 parts that we believe make the ideal diplomat. Within each chapter is packed full of case studies, videos, podcasts, practical worksheets and tutorials on very specific subject matters.
We have had a few of our cohorts feel slightly overwhelmed with just how much information is in the Academy – but remember, you don’t have to consume all this information in one sitting.
The Online Academy is simple to use. All you have to do is commit to a monthly or annual subscription, giving you full access to new content and resources.
I have been on fire trying to keep up with the pace because I truly believe that diplomacy needs to be accessible to all. You don’t have to go to university or some fancy city-based diplomatic institution to better yourself. In fact, we cover subjects and topics that diplomatic institutions DO NOT TALK ABOUT! You will not find a course within diplomacy dedicated to enhancing emotional intelligence, or building a personal brand. These things simply do not exist in traditional diplomatic training, but it is available to you now via our hard work and years of practice in the field.
So, while I pour my heart and soul into creating these new content for you, just remember that I will not give up on you and provide you with the absolute best resource without breaking the bank or wasting your precious time.
To date, I have:
· Created 70+ practical worksheets
· Reviewed 120+ books for diplomats to read
· Recorded 80+ podcasts that are less than ten minutes
· Published 30+ case studies
· Uploaded 50+ videos
These resources are ready for you RIGHT NOW! Are you willing to spend 53p per day on your diplomatic development? Or would you rather spend £30,000 and two years committed to a course that may not be practical?
There is always a choice, and that choice is yours. Whatever you decide to do, I will be there for you every step of the way.
Serving your with love and hope,
CEO, Grassroot Diplomat
