New Podcast: Effectiveness of Celebrity Diplomacy
Celebrities. We see them on screens, whether it’s silver, TV, mobile, on the red carpet, on talk shows, and on brands. They are seemingly everywhere. So does their constant presence mean that they can have a place in diplomacy as well? This episode looks at whether celebrities are qualified political characters, whether their campaigns are doing more harm than good, and whether celebrities are getting involved in diplomatic activities because of their ethical principles to contribute in solving a particular issue or solely in an attempt to self-promote.
This podcast is hosted by Jeannette Viens (Director of Public Relations) with a close look at how celebrities shape and influence diplomacy and foreign policy.
